Think you know best way to fix I-45 traffic?

Just a few days ago, the Texas Department of Transportation released a list of the 100 most-congested roadway segments in the state. A handful of them were Interstate 45.
Do you have any good ideas that can help solve the problem? The state has four of what it calls potential transit mobility alternatives.
The public's input, comments and preferences are being sought. To get them, three open houses are being organized, one of which is in League City on Sept. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center, 400 W. Walker.
Another is set for 6-8 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Galveston Island Convention Center, Ballroom A, 5600 Seawall Blvd.
The last is Sept. 24 from 6-8 p.m. at the Ripley House Neighborhood Center, 4410 Navigation in Houston.
A Web site, www.galvestonrailstudy.com, is being created and should be up and operating by mid-September. It'll have more details on the alternatives being considered.
