Car stolen outside League City Wings N More

A League City resident who spent an evening at Wings N More over the weekend walked out to the parking lot to discover his car had been stolen.
The 18-year-old League City resident had his 2000 silver Oldsmobile Alero stolen from the parking lot of the restaurant and sports bar, 210 S. Gulf Freeway, between 5 and 11 p.m. Friday.
The car is valued at $2,900.
League City Police Lt. Bruce Whitten said there were no signs of forced entry like broken glass and police have no suspects or witnesses to the theft. The car did not have lien, was legally parked and was not towed.
Unfortunately, it's not that uncommon," Whitten said. It's just bad luck."
