Go or stay? A farmers market's growing pains
Organizers of the Clear Lake Shores Farmers Market may be interested in a move to League City, but don't hold your breath.
Hayley Kappes of the Galveston County Daily News talked to Clear Lake Shores Mayor Vern Johnson, who said the city council must approve any changes made to the market . . .
. . . and the council does not want the farmers market to leave, he said.
The volunteers who run the market are pushing for a roomier location and say talks with League City earlier this month were conducted so there would be a backup plan.
