Clear Creek grad heads to Florida Marlins

Clear Creek High School grad James Wooster, an Alvin Community College outfielder, signed a contract with the Florida Marlins over the weekend.
According to Joshua Buckley at the Galveston County Daily News, the Marlins chose Wooster in the 12th round with the 377th overall pick.
Buckley reports:
Wooster had been ranked the 77th best junior college baseball player for the MLB Draft by Perfect Game USA earlier this spring.
