Tires slashed on SUVs in League City

League City police are investigating a weekend outbreak of slashed tires.
League City Police Lt. Bruce Whitten said the three incidents occurred between late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
A Jeep Cherokee had all four tires slashed and vulgarities etched into its paint, along with 420," Need Weed For Life" and other marijuana references. The vandalism occurred between 10 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of Port Rose Lane. The tire damage is valued at $1,781 and paint damage at $1,000.
The rear left tire of an Infiniti sports utility vehicle was slashed between 10 p.m. Friday and 9:53 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Lago Vista St., Whitten. The damage is valued at $150.
A Toyota Tundra had two tires slashed between midnight and 9 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Holly Fern Drive, Whitten said. The damage is valued at $1,500.
Police have no suspects in the incidents, which appear to be random acts of mischief that are related, Whitten said.
