Bill-payment drop box now available

A temporary drop box where League City residents can pay their city utility bill is now available.
The city's permanent drop box, which is in the middle of the City Hall parking lot, was damaged Thursday night when it was struck by a vehicle. The box can no longer lock and will be replaced.
The temporary box is beside the damaged one and will be used until a permanent replacement is installed, city spokeswoman Kristi Wyatt said.
Residents are encouraged to pay their bill online with no extra fees here or by mailing it to P.O. Box 2008 League City, TX 77574, or by dropping it off inside City Hall, 300 W. Walker, during normal business hours.
Residents can also join the city's ECO-billing in which they can receive their utility bill via e-mail instead of through the mail.
