Did relative steal $1,000 from man's wallet?

League City police are investigating whether a Dickinson man's nephew stole $1,000 out of his wallet on Saturday while the two were at tree-cutting job.
The Dickinson resident, 45, had given his 20-year-old nephew permission to get in his truck while they were working that night in the 100 block of S. Laguna Pointe Drive, police Lt. Bruce Whitten said.
The nephew then left without telling his uncle, who went to his truck and found $1,000 missing from his wallet, Whitten said.
He assumes that his nephew is the one who stole the money from him," Whitten said.
