TAKS results: Clear Creek students' passing rates rose or held steady this spring on all but three t

This spring significantly more juniors at Clear Creek's high schools passed the TAKS exams they'll need to graduate next year.
This year 94 percent of Clear Creek ISD's 11th graders passed all four of the state's exit tests, compared to 88 percent last year.
By way of comparison, 79 percent of Houston ISD juniors passed this spring and 82 percent of Texas juniors passed.
Next year, students who didn't succeed will get four more chances to pass English, math, social studies and science tests so they can graduate in spring 2011.
