Clear Lake Shores may lose farmers market
The Clear Lake Shores Farmers Market may be moving to League City.
The Galveston County Daily News' Hayley Kappes reports that farmers market President Bonnie Taylor is meeting today with League City Councilman Neil Baron about the possibility. Kappes writes:
Moving the market from 1020 FM 2094 in Clear Lake Shores to a different city would help its vendors avoid competition from the Kemah Farmers and Open Air Market, which opened May 22 at state Highway 146 and FM 2094, Taylor said.
