Seven Webster runners complete ConocoPhillips Rodeo 10K Run
Seven Webster athletes completed the ConocoPhillips Rodeo 10K Run on Saturday, Feb. 23 in Houston.
The runners from Webster and their finishing times were Evans Amoako, 28, 52:13; Tristan Ramirez, 50, 53:39; Teresa Medrano, 29, 54:23; Ignacio Aldo Mendez, 32, 55:46; Brittany Harper, 25, 1:07:38; David Joseph Sabot, 66, 1:12:09; and Debi Meade, 38, 1:17:26.
Race organizers said 6,299 runners finished the 10K race, which began and ended in downtown Houston.
Sammy Kiplagat, of Glen Drive, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 30:37, while Mary H. Davies, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 32:53.
