Clear Brook grad Redmon contributes to Bethune-Cookman victory
Clear Brook High School graduate Kiara Redmon played for Bethune-Cookman University in its 67-53 win at home over conference rival Savannah State on Monday, Feb. 25 at Moore Gymnasium in Daytona Beach, Fla., Bethune-Cookman's website reported.
Redmon helped the Wildcats improve to 12-13 on the season and 7-6 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
Bethune-Cookman's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at Norfolk State.
Redmon, a 5-foot-9 junior guard for Bethune-Cookman University, is a 2010 graduate of Clear Brook High School. She earned all-district honors her junior and senior years. She is the daughter of George and Shari Redmon and is a biology major.
