Clear Lake grad Sutherland plays in Coast Guard loss
Clear Lake High School graduate Victoria Sutherland scored 13 points for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in its 44-43 loss to conference rival Worcester Polytechnic Institute on Wednesday, Feb. 20 in Worcester, Mass., the Academy website reported.
Sutherland also recorded 11 rebounds and one assist for the Bears, who are 10-15 on the season and 8-10 in the NEWMAC.
Sutherland, a 5-foot-9 freshman guard for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, graduated Clear Lake High School in 2012. She is a Houston native.
