Sales roundup for South Houston, week ending Jan. 20

There were six sales in South Houston for the week ending Sunday, Jan. 20, according to BlockShopper.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 14619 Morningside View Drive. Pai-Chun Chi and Jacob Palmer sold the home to Cindy Zamarippa and Hector R. Zamarippa on Wednesday, Jan. 16.

The 1,335-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bath home is located in the Morningside Place subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 11307 Brettwood Drive by William Eugene Culpepper to William Eugene Culpepper and the sale of 11438 Sagemeadow Lane by Bryan Rupp and Tracy Wade to Jose Diosdado-Jasso.

Sales volume was 33.3 percent lower than the previous week and matched the volume of sales during the same week in 2012. South Houston has averaged eight sales per week during the last 12 months.
