SAT preparation course registration open at university

Registration is under way for a SAT preparation course at the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Classes will be held from 8 a.m.-noon on Saturdays from Saturday, March 23 through Saturday, April 27.

According to the university, "Get 24 hours of interactive instruction to increase vocabulary, answer questions, write a two-page essay in 25 minutes, review math and more with this SAT review that prepares students for the exam. Participants get a copy of 'The Official SAT Study Guide' with practice tests and answers, plus a 10 percent discount for UH-Clear Lake faculty, staff, alumni and their family members."

Registration fee is $549.

The University of Houston-Clear Lake is located at 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston.
