Water polo star aims for new shot at title
Q: Who is your favorite athlete?
A: I don't know about any other goalies, but Wolf Wigo and Tony Azevedo were two great water polo Olympians that I've always looked up to and liked watching.
Q: When did you start playing water polo?
A: I started swimming in fifth grade when I needed an off-season for football, and I was thrown into water polo just because of my size. From then on, I quit football and started playing water polo. It's been my love ever since.
Q: Who inspires you the most?
A: Both my parents, actually. They push me to be my best. They're always telling me I can achieve higher goals.
Q: What are your goals this season?
A: This season, I don't care too much about individual goals, but I definitely want to make it to the state championship again, and to win that would be the best since we were so close last year.
