Weekly sales roundup for Galveston, week ending Jan. 6
There were four sales in Galveston for the week ending Jan. 6, according to BlockShopper.
One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 3 Clara Barton Lane. Shaad Essa Abdullah, Saher Hameed Rizvi and Nihal Essa Abdulla sold the home to William R. Cochrane II on Thursday, Jan. 3. The 2,037-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bath home was built in 2002 and is located in the Barton Square subdivision.
Other transactions include the sale of 3919 Evening Primrose Drive by Mark L. Hess and Michael E. Hess to Grant N. Poeter and Jacqueline E. Jonson and the sale of 2633 Gerol Drive by Genesis Wealth Management Inc, National Independent Trust Co. and Mildred Yount Manion (estate) to Tonka Lane.
Sales volume was 33.3 percent lower than the previous week and 73.3 percent lower than the same week in 2012. Galveston has averaged eight sales per week during the last 12 months.
