Weekly sales roundup for Galveston, week ending Dec. 30
There were six sales in Galveston for the week ending Dec. 30, according to BlockShopper.
One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 5510 Swan Drive. Lewis E. Berry Jr. sold the home to Larry G. Kriticos and Mary R. Kriticos on Thursday, Dec. 27. The 2,518-square-foot, three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath home was built in 1961 and is located in the Surfside subdivision.
Other transactions include the sale of 3916 Bridge Harbor Drive to Steven C. Andersen and Mimi Andersen and the sale of 12620 W. Ventura Drive to Gail Eldridge and Betty Babendure.
Sales volume was 50 percent higher than the previous week and 72.7 percent lower than the same week in 2011. Galveston has averaged eight sales per week during the last 12 months.
