Transfer scholarship open to new students

First-time University of Houston-Clear Lake undergraduate students transferring to the university from a community college or other university may become the recipient of a UH-Clear Lake Automatic Transfer Scholarship.
Eligibility qualifications for the scholarships include that the student qualify for in-state tuition.
Accepted transfer students who enter UH-Clear Lake with a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average and are registered for nine or more semester credit hours may be eligible for a $1,000 scholarship paid at $500 per semester for two consecutive fall/spring semesters.
Students with a 2.75-2.99 cumulative transfer GPA who are registered for nine or more semester hours could receive $800 paid at $400 per semester for two consecutive fall/spring semesters.
