UH-Clear Lake Association of Senior Programs offers lectures
The University of Houston Clear Lake Association of Senior Programs will offer three lectures in February.
According to an announcement from the group, "The informative workshop Filming History: U.S. Genre Film 1930-45 presented by UH-Clear Lake associate professor of History and Humanities Barbara Hales is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 1, 10:30 a.m.-noon, in the Freeman Branch Library."
"NASA Life Science's Research and Development: Benefits for Earth and Space is the topic of the lecture presented by Jeff Davis, director of Space Life Sciences and JSC chief medical officer, Thursday, Feb. 7, 5:30-7 p.m., in the university's Bayou Building, Forest Room, 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston."
"Finally, the educational lecture Environmental Responsibility: How Can I Help Keep Pearland Beautiful? will be presented by Fay Watson, assistant director of Keep Pearland Beautiful, Monday, Feb. 11, 10-11:30 a.m., in the Melvin Knapp Center, 2424 South Park Ave., Pearland."
All programs are free and open to the public, but registration is requested.
