Clear Lake grad Beverly scores 4 points in Cal Baptist victory
Clear Lake High School graduate Jasmine Beverly scored four points in California Baptist University's 67-65 home win over conference rival Azusa Pacific on Jan. 15, according to the California Baptist University website.
The senior forward also recorded 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block for the Lancers, who improved to 10-3 on the season and 4-1 in the Golden State Athletic Conference.
California Baptist University's next game is 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 on the road against Dixie State College of Utah.
Beverly is a 2009 graduate of Clear Lake High School, where she played three years on the varsity squad. Beverly is from Houston and is the daughter of Chester Beverly and Veronica Beard.
