Weekly sales roundup for Galveston, week ending Dec. 23

There were four sales in Galveston for the week ending Dec. 23, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 3408 Treasure Circle. Stuart Donovan Saunders (trust) sold the home to 3408 Treasure Circle LLC on Wednesday, Dec. 19. The 1,906-square-foot, two-bath home is located in the Pirates Cove subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 18322 E. De Vaca Lane to Virginia Emily Watson and Hugo Sanchez and the sale of 2417 Pine St. to Douglas E. Konefal and Dong S. Konefal.

Sales volume was 33.3 percent higher than the previous week and 69.2 percent lower than the same week in 2011. Galveston has averaged nine sales per week during the last 12 months.
