Weekly sales roundup for South Houston, week ending Dec. 23

There were nine sales in South Houston for the week ending Dec. 23, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 11603 Graywood Drive. Donald R. Gunderson and Karen Bartley Gunderson sold the home to Herrera Inc. on Monday, Dec. 17. The 1,290-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bath home was built in 1977 and is located in the Wood Meadow subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 11307 Brettwood Drive to William Culpepper and the sale of 10802 Kirktown Drive to Gina Kim Le and Dac Tran.

Sales volume was 80 percent higher than the previous week and matched the volume of sales during the same week in 2011. South Houston has averaged eight sales per week during the last 12 months.
