Clear Lake grad Lewis scores 7 points in Houston Baptist loss
Clear Lake High School graduate Rob Lewis scored seven points in Houston Baptist's 72-44 loss to the University of Texas-El Paso on Jan. 14, according to Houston Baptist's website.
The freshman guard also recorded three rebounds, three assists and two steals for the Huskies, who are 4-13 on the season.
Houston Baptist's next game is 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 on the road against Chicago State.
Lewis is a 2012 graduate of Clear Lake High School, where he was a three-year captain for coach Tommy Penders. He averaged 17 points, five rebounds and four assists per game in high school. The business administration major is from Clear Lake.
