Olympian inspires track standout
A: Carmelita Jeter because she runs the 100 and 200, which are what I run. I try to copy her form.
Q: Who inspires you the most?
A: My dad because he played college football, and also my uncle. They both went to college on football and track scholarships.
Q: What are your goals for this season?
A: I would like to go to state in 100 and 200, and I would like my relay team to go to state in the 4x100.
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?
A: I listen to a song, and I say a prayer.
Q: How have your coaches made you a better runner?
A: They push me every practice, and they make me work hard.
