Chief of Astronaut Office Extravehicular Activity retires
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration announced the retirement of Dr. David Wolf, chief of the Astronaut Office Extravehicular Activity.
In 1983, Wolf joined the Medical Sciences Division of Johnson Space Center, Houston. He was responsible for the development of the American Flight Echocardiograph, which is used in space for investigating cardiovascular physiology in microgravity.
