Webster runner Bate completes 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon
Webster runner Mary Jo Bate completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9 in Dallas.
Bate finished in 5:02:42.
Race organizers said 4,874 runners finished the 26.2 mile race, which began and ended at Downtown Dallas.
Vladimir Safranov, of Russia, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 2:19:38, while Nastassia Padalinskaya, of Belarus, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 2:43:56.
