Five Friendswood runners complete 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Full Marathon
Five Friendswood athletes completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Full Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9 in Dallas.
The runners from Friendswood and their finishing times were Charles Clutter, 4:00:27; Bijou Chacko, 4:34:25; John Paul Garcia, 4:41:39; Charles Gordon, 4:44:45; and John Galey, 4:47:47.
Race organizers said 4,874 runners finished the 26.2-mile race, which began and ended in Downtown Dallas.
Vladimir Safranov, of Russia, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 2:19:38, while Nastassia Padalinskaya, of Belarus, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 2:43:56.
