Clear Lake grad Lewis plays in Houston Baptist loss
Clear Lake High School graduate Rob Lewis scored eight points in Houston Baptist's 70-60 home loss to conference rival UT-Pan American Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Sharp Gym in Houston, the team's website reported.
Lewis also recorded one rebound and an assist for the Huskies, who are 4-11 on the season and 0-1 in the Great West Conference.
Houston Baptist's next game is 8:05 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at Utah Valley.
Lewis is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist University. He is a 2012 graduate of Clear Lake High School, where he was a three-year captain for coach Tommy Penders at Clear Lake High School. He averaged 17 points, five rebounds and four assists per game in high school. The business administration major is from Clear Lake and is the son of Robert and Marla Lewis.
