2013 Junior Theater Festival scheduled for Bay Area Theatre and Voice Academy
The Bay Area Theatre and Voice Academy scheduled a 2013 Junior Theater Festival for noon Friday, Jan. 18.
The Bay Area Theatre and Voice Academy scheduled a 2013 Junior Theater Festival for noon Friday, Jan. 18.
According to a Bay Area Theatre and Voice Academy release, "Featuring 82 groups representing 23 states, the Junior Theater Festival is the worlds largest musical theater festival dedicated to celebrating young people experiencing the transformative power of musical theater and is presented by New York's iTheatrics and Atlantas Theater of the Stars. Each group attending the Junior Theater Festival performs a 15-minute selection of a musical for a panel of distinguished theater professionals. The 26 students of Bay Area Theatre and Voice Academy, ages 7 to 17, will present Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. for adjudication."
The event will not be held at the school, but will take place at Cobb Galleria Centre, at 2 Galleria Parkway, Atlanta.
