Two Friendswood runners complete 2012 Cigna Mayor's Race presented by Oncor (5K)
Two Friendswood athletes completed the 2012 Cigna Mayor's Race presented by Oncor (5K) on Dec. 8 in Dallas.
Savannah Alaniz crossed the finish line in 22:02, and Rueben Alaniz finished in 32:42.
Race organizers said 590 runners finished the 5K race, which began and ended at Trinity Groves.
Clint Bell, of Dallas, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 15:50, while Jessica Smith, of Roanoke, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 18:27.
