Weekly sales roundup for Galveston, week ending Dec. 16

There were three sales in Galveston for the week ending Dec. 16, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 6325 Heards Lane. Jesse James Khaled and Amanda Khaled sold the home to Lillian Trejo and Domingo Trejo on Friday, Dec. 14. The 950-square-foot, three-bedroom, 1 1/2-bath home was built in 1996 and is located in the Hollywood Heights subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 30 Clara Barton Lane to Joe Max Taylor and Anita M. Taylor and the sale of 11200 Bernice Drive to Pamela Franks.

Sales volume was 50 percent higher than the previous week and 88.4 percent lower than the same week in 2011. Galveston has averaged nine sales per week during the last 12 months.
