Chris Olsen to speak at University of Houston-Clear Lake for seminar series
University of Houston-Clear Lake will present Characteristics and Physics of Plasma Detachment in the VASMIR Engine, part of its Physics and Space Science Seminar Series, Thursday, April 18.
According to a press release, Rice University doctoral candidate Chris Olsen will speak on the topic at 7 p.m. in room 1218 in the Bayou Building.
The event is open and free to the public. For teachers, engineers or other persons interested in attending the lecture for credit, cost is $15.
The University of Houston-Clear Lake was founded in 1974. The university offers 40 bachelor's degrees and 45 master's degrees through its schools of business, science and computer engineering, education and human services and humanities. A second campus is located in Pearland. University president is William A. Staples.
University of Houston-Clear Lake is at 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston.
