University of Houston-Clear Lake to host lecture on numerical cosmology

University of Houston-Clear Lake Associate Professor and Chair of Physics David Garrison will present a lecture on numerical cosmology as part of the college's Physics and Space Science Spring Seminar Series on Thursday, April 11.

According to a press release, the lecture is free and open to the public and will be held at 7 p.m. in room 1218 in the Bayou Building. Teachers, engineers or others may attend the lecture for credit for a cost of $15.

The University of Houston-Clear Lake was founded in 1974. The university offers 40 bachelor's degrees and 45 master's degrees through its schools of business, science and computer engineering, education and human services and humanities. A second campus is located in Pearland. University president is William A. Staples.

University of Houston-Clear Lake is at 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston.
