Richard Wilkins to speak in University of Houston-Clear Lake lecture series
Richard Wilkins will present a lecture titled Space Radiation Research at Prairie View A&M University on Thursday, March 7 at University of Houston-Clear Lake.
According to a press release, the lecture is part of the university's Physics and Space Science Spring Seminar Series and will begin at 7 p.m. The event will take place in room 218 of the university's Bayou Building. The lecture is free and open to the public. Teachers, engineers or others may attend the lecture for credit for $15.
Wilkins is a Prairie View A&M associate professor of electrical and computer engineering and director of the Center for Radiation Engineering and Science for Space Exploration.
The University of Houston-Clear Lake was founded in 1974. The university offers 40 bachelor's degrees and 45 master's degrees through its schools of business, science and computer engineering, education and human services and humanities. A second campus is located in Pearland. University president is William A. Staples.
