Clear Lake grad Beverly contributes to Cal Baptist win
Clear Lake High School graduate Jasmine Beverly scored three points in California Baptist University's 55-53 home win over conference rival Grand Canyon on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Van Dyne Gym in Riverside, the California team's website said.
Beverly also recorded eight rebounds, an assist and one block for the Lancers, who improved to 8-2 on the season and 2-0 in the PWC.
California Baptist University's next game is 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at home against Dixie State.
Beverly is a senior forward for California Baptist University at Riverside. She is a 2009 graduate of Clear Lake High School, where she played three years on the varsity squad. Beverly is from Houston and is the daughter of Chester Beverly and Veronica Beard.
