Bay Area Cinderella Scholarship Pageant set for Jan. 27

The Bay Area Cinderella Scholarship Pageant will take place Sunday, Jan. 27 in League City.

The annual Bay Area Cinderella Scholarship Pageant will take place Sunday, Jan. 27 at South Shore Harbor Resort in League City.

According to a press release from organizers, "the event is open to all Texas young ladies ages 0 to 26. Participants ages 0 to 2 will participate in the baby pageant and compete in baby playtime and onstage party wear events. Participants ages 3 to 26 will compete in interview, talent and onstage casual wear and party wear events for the Cinderella pageant. All who compete at the Bay Area preliminary will earn the right to compete for thousands of dollars in cash and college scholarships at the 2013 Texas State Cinderella finals in Houston and the 2013 International Cinderella finals in Las Vegas next summer."

The South Shore Harbor Resort is at 2500 S. Shore Blvd., League City.
