Clear Lake grad Lewis plays in Baptist loss
Clear Lake High School graduate Rob Lewis scored five points as Houston Baptist lost 95-86 at home to Army Monday, Dec. 31, at Sharp Gym in Houston, the team's website reported.
The Houston Baptist University freshman guard also recorded two rebounds, four assists and three steals for the Huskies, who are 4-9 on the season.
Houston Baptist's next game is 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3 at Texas A&M.
Lewis is a 2012 graduate of Clear Lake High School, where he was a three-year captain for coach Tommy Penders at Clear Lake High School. He averaged 17 points, five rebounds and four assists per game in high school. The business administration major is from Clear Lake and is the son of Robert and Marla Lewis.
