Friendswood grad Garza contributes to Wayland Baptist win
Friendswood High School graduate Mark Garza scored two points in Wayland Baptist University's 70-64 home win over Texas Lutheran Friday, Dec. 28, in Plainview, the Wayland Baptist website reported.
The sophomore guard helped Wayland improve to 8-5 on the season.
Garza is a sophomore forward for Wayland Baptist University in Plainview. He is a 2011 graduate of Friendswood High School. He went to McMurry University before transferring. Garza is from Friendswood.
