Weekly sales roundup for Friendswood, week of Dec. 2

There were 15 sales in Friendswood for the week ending Dec. 2, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 16615 Forest Bend Ave. Jill E. Bontrager sold the home to Marixsa Palacios on Friday, Nov. 30. The 1,141-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bath home was built in 1972 and is located in the Forest Bend subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 4902 Five Knolls Drive to Bao C. Chu and the sale of 5414 Abercreek St. to Jessie F. Martinez.

The Heritage Park neighborhood had the most sales in the area with eight.

Sales volume was 36.3 percent higher than the previous week and 21 percent lower than the same week in 2011. Friendswood has averaged 12 sales per week during the last 12 months.
