Kramm appointed police chief
Michael Kramm has been named the new police chief for the League City Police Department, effective Dec. 12.
According to a department release, Kramm was promoted from assistant commander of the combined response team and the operations bureau commander.
Kramm has served as a League City Police Officer since 1993. He also served in the United States Navy from 1988-92.
The new police chief holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from LeTourneau University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
"I am very pleased to welcome Michael Kramm as the new League City Chief of Police. His skills, vision and dedication to the City will serve both the department and the community," said League City Mayor Tim Paulissen in the release.
