State of the City Address, Business of the Year luncheon scheduled for Jan. 24
The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce has scheduled its State of the City Address and Business of the Year luncheon for Thursday, Jan. 24.
According to an announcement from the chamber, the event will run from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Pasadena Convention Center, 7902 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena.
Advance registration is required. Admission is $40 for members; $50 for nonmembers; $350 for a table of eight members; $400 for a table of eight nonmembers; $500 for a table of eight major sponsors. To register, call 281-487-7871 or visit www.chamberdata.net.
Pasadena is the 17th largest city in Texas with a population of almost 150,000 residents. It is the second largest city in Harris County. The area was founded in 1893 and was named after Pasadena Calif. The city has a total area of 44.5 square miles. Pasadena is governed by a mayor-council form of government. Johnny Isbell is mayor of Pasadena; the eight city councilors are Ornaldo Ybarra Jackie Welch Don Harrison Pat Van Houte Leroy Stanley Phil Cayten Steve Cote and Darrell Morrison.
