Clear Brook grad Redmon contributes to Bethune-Cookman victory over UNC Asheville
Kiara Redmon, a graduate of Clear Brook High School, is a junior guard for the Bethune-Cookman University women's basketball team.
Clear Brook High School graduate Kiara Redmon played for Bethune-Cookman University in a 74-57 win against the University of North Carolina at Asheville on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the Edmunds Center in DeLand, Fla.
The Bethune-Cookman University junior guard recorded one assist for the Wildcats, who improved to 4-5 on the season, according to Bethune-Cookman University's website.
Bethune-Cookman University's next game is at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19 on the road against Georgia Southern.
Redmon, a 5-foot-9 junior guard for Bethune-Cookman University, is a 2010 graduate of Clear Brook High School. She earned all-district honors her junior and senior years. She is the daughter of George and Shari Redmon and is a biology major.
