Clear Creek grad Carter records 3 rebounds in Sam Houston State University loss
Clear Creek High School graduate Nyha Carter recorded three rebounds for Sam Houston State University in a 67-60 loss against Texas Christian University on Dec. 16, according to Sam Houston State University's website.
Sam Houston State University's next game is Thursday, Dec. 20 against the University at Albany. The Bearkats are 2-6 on the season.
Carter, a 5-foot-10-inch junior forward, is a 2010 graduate of Clear Creek High School. The League City native was a three-time All-District 24-5A selection during high school and was named the district's Defensive Player of the Year her sophomore and junior years.
