Spring grad Berry plays in Houston Baptist loss
Spring High School graduate T.J. Berry played for Houston Baptist University in its 81-47 loss to the University of Texas, Arlington Thursday. Dec. 13, at College Park Center in Arlington, according to Houston Baptist's website.
The freshman guard and the Huskies are 3-6 on the season. Houston Baptist's next game is 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at home against Arlington Baptist.
Berry played at Spring High School for coach Chris Bailes in 2006-2010. While at Spring, he was named First-Team All-District and earned newcomer of the year honors. Berry is the son of Cheryl Berry.
