Clear Lake grad Lewis plays in Houston Baptist loss
Clear Lake High School graduate Rob Lewis scored four points in a losing cause as Houston Baptist University fell 81-47 to University of Texas, Arlington Thursday, Dec. 13, at College Park Center in Arlington, according to Houston Baptist's website.
The Clear Lake native also recorded one rebound, one steal and a block for the Huskies, who are 3-6 on the season.
Houston Baptist's next game is 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at home against Arlington Baptist.
Lewis is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist. He is a 2012 graduate of Clear Lake High School, where he was a three-year captain for coach Tommy Penders. He averaged 17 points, five rebounds and four assists per game in high school. The business administration major is the son of Robert and Marla Lewis.
