College of the Mainland Foundation honors donors

Mike Ferlet, vice president of business relations for Del Papa Distributors, accepts a certificate of recognition honoring the company as a donor of the year.

Three groups were recently named the College of the Mainland Foundation's Donors of the Year for contributions that provided funding this year for 150 students.

"Del Papa Distributors; Bill and Jennifer Raley, in memory of his mother, Vlasta Hill; and the COM-BAT Triathlon have offered longstanding support for student scholarships," according to a press release from College of the Mainland.

The College of the Mainland is at 1200 Amburn Road, Texas City.
