Clear Brook grad Redmon contributes to Bethune-Cookman University victory over Edward Waters

Kiara Redmon, a graduate of Clear Brook High School, is a junior guard for the Bethune-Cookman University women's basketball team.

Clear Brook High School graduate Kiara Redmon contributed five points in Bethune-Cookman University's 88-46 home win against Edward Waters College on Dec. 11 at Moore Gymnasium in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The Bethune-Cookman University junior guard also recorded one rebound and a steal for the Wildcats, who improved to 3-5 on the season, according to Bethune-Cookman University's website.

Bethune-Cookman University's next game is at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at home against the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Redmon, a 5-foot-9 junior guard for Bethune-Cookman University, is a 2010 graduate of Clear Brook High School. She earned all-district honors her junior and senior years. She is the daughter of George and Shari Redmon and is a biology major.
