University of Houston-Clear Lake announces holiday closings

University of Houston-Clear Lake will close for several days in December and part of January for the holidays.

According to a press release, the university's offices will be closed Saturday, Dec. 22, through Tuesday, Jan. 1. Offices, including the Neumann Library, will reopen Wednesday, Jan. 2.

The University of Houston-Clear Lake was founded in 1974. The university offers 40 bachelor's degrees and 45 master's degrees through its schools of business, science and computer engineering, education and human services and humanities. A second campus is located in Pearland. University president is William A. Staples.

University of Houston-Clear Lake is at 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston.
