Dickinson High School Gator Band earns 18th ranking
The Dickinson High School Gator Band was given the 18th ranking Nov. 5 at their first State Marching Competition.
According to a press release, "The Dickinson High School Gator Band had a good showing at their first UIL 5A State Marching Competition, ranking 18th out of 38 bands participating in the contest. They ranked higher than all but one band from the Houston/Galveston area. The Dickinson community was very supportive of the band as they headed to San Antonio Monday afternoon for the state contest with students, parents and community members lining FM 517 to cheer them on."
