Friendswood grad Garza contributes to Wayland Baptist University victory
Friendswood native Mark Garza contributed two points in Wayland Baptist University's 99-62 home win against conference opponent Dallas Christian College on Nov. 30, according to Wayland Baptist University's website.
The Wayland Baptist University sophomore forward also recorded four rebounds and four assists for the Pioneers, who improved to 6-4 on the season and 4-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
Wayland Baptist University's next game is at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4 on the road against Lubbock Christian.
The 2011 graduate of Friendswood High School went to McMurry University before transferring to Wayland Baptist University in Plainview.
